SCIENTOLOGISTS’ HUMAN RIGHTS MISSION
(Excerpted from a briefing of 27 February 1969.)

I’m giving Scientologists a mission of human rights and anti-butchery—that’s already moving into that field. That is a very popular image so it will get us a lot of group support.

We have inadvertently, in one of our capers, given ourselves a good image because the enemy had a bad image. The enemy was found to have done several things which were bad. So that made our people the cowboys in the white hats. You really don’t have to talk about yourself very much if you talk about somebody else. The human mind is so constituted that if you say Joe is bad, the public then assumes you are good. They go on a positive/negative.

The basic thing that protects Scientology and carries this message is the fact that it deals in truth, is sincere and means what it says, it does what it says; it can do and it doesn’t have any crimes on its docket. With a building brick like this we ought to be able to really take it.

Scientology’s “Proclamation on Religion, Human Rights and Society” – Gerry Armstrong’s Response

September 28, 2003

The Scientology organization has just opened what it calls its “ European Office for Public Affairs and Human Rights” in Brussels, and published on its website its “Proclamation on Religion, Human Rights and Society.”1

Scientology is a notoriously bad actor in the area of human rights, and its Brussels office is a glitzy gambit in its deceptive, cruel and dangerous “human rights” operation and campaign. Scientology’s campaign calls for a counter-campaign to expose the deceit and the cruelty, and to drum this cult out of the human rights business until it cleans up its own human rights abuses.

Scientology is no promoter or defender of basic individual human rights, but a suppressor and destroyer of these rights. In fact, what Scientology seeks as a human right, and what it has pumped so much money into its “human rights” office and its “human rights” campaign to achieve, is the “ human right” to eliminate individual human rights. The “rights” Scientology seeks, and which its “human rights” crusade cloaks, are “ rights” that no nation or organization, religious or not, should be given.

The clearest and undeniable proof of Scientology’s anti-human rights intentions and actions is what this cult has done for over twenty-one years, and is actively doing right now, to destroy my own basic rights.2

The almost inconceivable, but very dirty truth is that all of Scientology’s corporations and offices, and every affiliated group or company, and all of their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and even their lawyers, are compelled, by their own contract, to destroy basic human rights. This contract webbed on my site, and what the Scientologists have done to enforce it, are irrefutable proof that the cult’s “human rights” office and crusade are utter frauds.3

In his message announcing the opening of the Brussels “human rights office” Scientology’s figurehead president Heber Jentzsch states:

Scientologists have, over the past five decades, worked tirelessly to defend and uphold human rights and religious freedoms — not only to preserve their own rights, but to guarantee the rights and freedoms of every citizen. The freedoms of speech, choice, thought and belief are sacred, and their violation can always be found at the root of any conflict.4

What a rotten lie from Mr. Jentzsch! He is the person who signed the “contract” for the Scientology cult that binds virtually every Scientologist to be a human rights destroyer.5; 6

Scientology states as the first tenet in its “proclamation,” that:

Every person, regardless of race, colour, sex or ethnicity, is a spiritual being, worthy of respect and deserving of dignity.

Yet Scientology’s actual policy and practice is that anyone the cult’s leaders designate as an “enemy” is a “suppressive person, ” or “SP,” with no rights whatsoever, who is to be subjected to the cult’s notorious “fair game law.” The “SPs” Scientology targets comprise perfectly good people, most of whom have done nothing more evil than leave the cult, or ask for return of money defrauded from them, or simply “grant credence” to a person labeled an “SP.” 7

In one of his policy letters, Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard detailed how Scientologists were to treat such “SPs,” or “fair game enemies:”

ENEMY — SP Order. Fair game. May be deprived of property or injured by any means by any Scientologist without any discipline of the Scientologist. May be tricked, sued or lied to or destroyed.8

By the laws of any civilized country, “fair game” is a criminal philosophy, policy and practice, intended to destroy human rights, and human lives.

Scientology states in its “human rights proclamation” that:

Every person has a right to associate with others, to organize with them for religious purposes and to express, practice and publicly promulgate their religious beliefs.

Yet this cult has paid huge sums to terrorize me, bankrupt me, and to obtain court orders in the U.S. to have me hunted down, arrested and jailed, for nothing more than expressing my religious beliefs. In patent contradiction of its “human rights” stance, the cult even boasts on its own Internet hate site of its orders for my arrest.9

In truth, the cult’s orders against me are unlawful, and obtained by unlawful means, including by threat and fraud. Since Scientology insists that it is a “religion,” “organized solely for religious purposes,” it is no more lawful to jail and fine me for expressing my religious beliefs about Scientology than it is to jail and fine someone for expressing his Christian or Muslim or Buddhist religious beliefs. The cult’s court orders against me demonstrate, beyond any argument, that it seeks nothing like what it states in its “proclamation,” but in truth seeks the wholesale eradication of individual human rights.

Scientology has threatened scores of people with its “ religious” persecution machinery — by fair game, by using the law to harass, and by “black propaganda” — for nothing more than the “crime” of associating with me. Black propaganda, or “black PR, is the cult’s term for its practice of destroying people’s reputations and lives with the relentless and wide dissemination of lies and defamation. The amount of black propaganda Scientology has published and distributed over the past two decades about me and people who would associate with me is staggering.10
A June 2002 letter from a Scientology lawyer to Professor Stephen Kent, a prominent sociologist at the University of Alberta, is illustrative of the cult’s execrable efforts to prevent anyone from associating with me.11

Contrary to what Scientology’s lawyer states in his threat letter, Dr. Kent had never been in Europe with me, never appeared with me at any public gathering in Europe or anywhere else, and had never appeared at any gathering at any time with an “anti-religious agenda.” I also have never appeared at any gathering with an anti-religious agenda, and do not have an anti-religious agenda. I am as religious as the next person, and the assertion that Dr. Kent or I have an “anti-religious agenda” is despicable. But it is common, everyday black propaganda from Scientology, manufactured not only for its defamatory effect, but to create an atmosphere to justify further, more violent attacks in execution of the Scientologists’ own agenda, which truly is anti-religious.

Literally dozens of my friends and contacts have been threatened by Scientology for the “suppressive act” of associating with me. Many of my friends have been terrorized by the Scientology cult into not assisting me, not associating with me, and not even granting me credence. Scientology’s rationalization for its inhumane attacks on my associates and me is the cult’s “ religious” dictate I am a “suppressive person,” and therefore have no rights. In truth, Scientology “suppressive person doctrine” makes the cult a hate group, which should be opposed by every human being with a heart and a brain.

Scientology states in its “human rights proclamation” that:

Everyone has the right to hold opinions without interference and the right to freedom of expression, which includes the freedom to discover, receive and disseminate information and ideas of all kinds, regardless of frontiers, either orally or through any media of his or her choice. No one may be subjected to any sort of restraint, disadvantage or sanction because of his or her expression, opinions or beliefs.

What, however, if, as is the case with Scientology, the expression is the restraint or suppression of expression, opinions or beliefs? Or if the expression, as again the case is with Scientology, is the fair gaming, hunting down and jailing someone for daring to express his opinions or beliefs? Should not the restrainer and suppressor of the expression of beliefs be restrained?

Through threat and through corruption of the California justice system, Scientology has sought and obtained orders which assess me U.S. $50,000, and jail me, for any expression of my experiences, opinions or beliefs in connection with the cult. If I even say the word “Scientology,” the cult claims, I must pay $50,000 and be jailed. Scientology also claims that all of its corporations, groups and affiliates, and all of their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents and lawyers may black PR me, may say whatever they want about me, no matter how false, perverse or defamatory, and I cannot respond. If I respond to defend my reputation or person from their attacks, they claim that I must pay them $50, 000 and be jailed. Not only is this an obliteration of my right to freedom of speech and expression, but also it is an annihilation of my right to due process.

What Scientology seeks, with its court orders, threats and fair game, to prevent me from speaking is not false or defamatory statements, but the truth, or my beliefs and opinions about that truth. What the cult seeks to prevent me from speaking and writing is just the kind of information the whole world needs access to in order to be able to make informed decision about this organization. What Scientology is punishing me for saying, with astronomical penalties and jail sentences, is exactly the kind of information the cultists claim in their “human rights proclamation” may not be subjected to any sort of restraint or sanction.

Although what Scientology is doing to silence me, and punish me for not being silenced, must sound unbelievable, its latest lawsuit against me filed last year is inarguable proof of these facts and the cult’s anti-human rights, anti-justice and antisocial agenda. Scientology seeks U.S. $10,050,000 from me for two hundred instances in which I voiced my opinion, ideas or beliefs about the cult. In this lawsuit, Scientology also sues one of my friends Robert Minton for giving me a computer, because, the cult claims, it facilitated my expressing my experiences, opinions and beliefs about that “religion” and its founder, L. Ron Hubbard.12

Hubbard was no humanitarian as Scientology portrays him. He was a bully, a liar and a misanthrope. In 1984, a California Superior Court Judge, in the first of six cases in which Scientology has sued me, stated of Hubbard:

In addition to violating and abusing its own members civil rights, the organization over the years with its “Fair Game” doctrine has harassed and abused those persons not in [Scientology] whom it perceives as enemies. The organization clearly is schizophrenic and paranoid, and this bizarre combination seems to be a reflection of its founder LRH. The evidence portrays a man who has been virtually a pathological liar when it comes to his history, background and achievements. The writings and documents in evidence additionally reflect his egoism, greed, avarice, lust for power, and vindictiveness and aggressiveness against persons perceived by him to be disloyal or hostile13

Just as Hubbard was no humanitarian, his cult of Scientology, with its “suppressive person doctrine” and “fair game law,” and its threats and lawsuits to silence good people, is no humanitarian organization, and is pursuing no humanitarian or human rights goals. Not only, however, is Scientology a human rights abuser and destroyer, but what the organization and its members are doing with me demonstrates that they comprise a global criminal conspiracy. What they are doing with me is a U.S. Federal crime, specifically a violation of U.S. Code Title 18, Sec. 241, which states:

If two or more persons conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same; …
They shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; 14

Every Scientology corporation and office, including the cult’s “human rights office” in Brussels, and all affiliates groups or companies, and all of their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents and lawyers have conspired, and continue to conspire, to injure, oppress, threaten, and intimidate me in the free exercise and enjoyment of rights and privileges secured to me by the U.S. Constitution and laws. These rights and privileges include, but are not limited to, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of association, freedom of assembly, due process, freedom from slavery, self defense, litigant’s privilege, clergyman-penitent privilege and doctor-patient privilege.

Because of what the Scientology organization and virtually every Scientologist are doing to me, it is accurate to call this cult a criminal enterprise. Because it is a criminal enterprise, of course, and because it is continuously perpetrating criminal acts against me, I cannot lawfully be silenced about that enterprise or those acts. Scientology’s efforts to silence me about its criminal acts, in fact, only confirm the cult as a criminal enterprise. Scientology’s new “human rights office” in Brussels and its entire staff are acting in furtherance of a criminal conspiracy.

The threat, stress and ugliness of being targeted as a “suppressive person” and fair gamed by this vicious, and at the same time unctuous, Scientology organization is devastating. It has ruined any sense or hope of normalcy and peace in my life. The cultists or their hired operatives have assaulted me on multiple occasions, terrorized me on the freeway, manufactured false evidence to file more than a dozen criminal charges against me including with the FBI, framed me with crimes, sued me six times, black PRed me around the world, run continuous intelligence operations to entrap me, and threatened to assassinate me. I believe that the cult’s leaders would commit or order any crime to silence me and destroy me.

I am not the only individual that Scientology is targeting, and seeking to silence by threat or by unlawful “contract” in violation of its own “human rights proclamation.” There are thousands upon thousands of “suppressive persons” who are victimized and whose lives are harmed and threatened by this hateful and criminal doctrine. I just happen to be an average person who by the Grace of God was not shuddered into silence as the Scientologists want, and who along the way documented some of the cult’s antisocial and criminal actions.

I am not attempting to stop Scientology or Scientologists from enjoyment of their basic human rights, and neither is anyone else. It is the cult and its cultists who are attempting to destroy human rights, while proclaiming that they are defending and promoting the rights that they are destroying. At any time over the past seventeen years, Scientology could have cancelled its contract by which its members are compelled to suppress and destroy human rights. But this “ contract” shows that it is more valuable to Scientology and Scientologists to suppress and destroy basic human rights, even if doing so is a U.S. Federal crime, than it is to actually respect human rights. Not one Scientologist, out of all the tens of thousands bound by the cult’s “contract,” has ever objected in all those years to either the destruction of human rights or his or her participation in this global criminal conspiracy.

Scientologists as the defenders and upholders of human rights and religious freedoms is like having the Taliban as defenders and upholders of women’ s rights. Scientology guaranteeing the rights and freedoms of citizens is like the Ku Klux Klan guaranteeing black people’s civil rights. This cult and its members preserving human rights and providing help for those in need is like having the Nazis as the preservers of the rights and dignity of the Jews. The Taliban, the KKK or the Nazis opening up an opulent “human rights office,” along with a nice speech by a director of the Hannah Arendt Institute, would be a sick joke and a terrible threat to women, blacks and Jews. Scientology’s “human rights office” and its “human rights campaign” are just as sick and just as threatening to the cult’s suppressive persons.

Just as governments have a duty to defend and preserve the rights of the classes of citizens who comprise women, blacks and Jews, governments also have a duty to defend and preserve the rights of the class of citizens who comprise “suppressive persons.” Just as governments have a duty to oppose and restrain anti- human rights organizations like the Taliban, the KKK and the Nazis, governments have a duty to oppose and restrain the human rights destroying Scientology cult. And Scientologists have a duty, as human beings, to either stop the suppressive “suppressive person doctrine,” and stop destroying people’s human rights, or stop being Scientologists.

PSYCHIATRIC VIOLATIONS
OF HUMAN RIGHTS
(The following press releases were written by LRH for the UK on 28-29 January 1969.)

PRESS RELEASE, 28 JANUARY 1969

The psychiatrist has a new definition for insanity which destroys all civil and human rights. In the World Health Organization Technical Report Series No. 98, Legislation Affecting Psychiatric Treatment, on page 24, an insane person is cunningly defined as one whose capacity for social autonomy is inadequate as well as those who show themselves to be a danger to law and order.

This booklet also seeks to reduce churches. It also recommends a bypass of judicial procedures. Thus anyone who disagrees with the society or psychiatry can be whisked away, imprisoned, injured and condemned to death.

Psychiatry arrogantly makes nothing of legal and human rights and has developed a Hitler one-way road of taking care of their enemies and controlling governments.

Psychiatry shows itself plainly to be a political activity, not a healing science, since none ever get well.

Dr. T. P. Rees of England, who is a founder of the organization instigating attacks and inquiries about Scientology, helped write this booklet. It is a smooth, fast subversion of all human rights. If anyone disagrees, they say he is insane. If he is insane, he has no rights. If he has no rights, he can be imprisoned, injured or killed.

Who are these men above the law?

1984, here we come.

PRESS RELEASE, 29 JANUARY 1969

Instead of attacking churches and independent research, governments should form a sanity commission to inquire into the abuses and invasion of human rights by psychiatry. England has no constitution or laws that protect citizens or secure equal rights under law.

In Scientology our real problem is a constant parade of injured and damaged people coming to us, who have been brutalized by psychiatrists. Girls who have been raped by them—even boys. Brain injuries from savage, careless shocks. Listless, apathetic, hurt people. Men who have been castrated like the Germans did in death camps.

My own petition and public lines contain several letters a day, pleading for help after psychiatric damage.

For psychiatric organizations to criticize Scientology is the most fantastic hypocrisy on earth. These men are not healers. They are trained killers. For in all the society we have never found one person cured by psychiatry. Not one.

If they call, as they do, anyone who disagrees with them, insane, then those who agree with this human butchery should wear a swastika arm band so we can recognize them.

Course: Hubbard Dissemination Course: Chapter 8C and Circuits

8-C[1] AND CIRCUITS[2]1

Don’t go being an effect of the public. Every once in a while you see some auditor half starved to death. He gets hold of a pc whose fee he needs, so starts doing anything he can to get that fee and makes himself an effect. It’s quite remarkable, but he generally winds up not getting it. That’s because he is too much the effect of the fee. He then has to be the effect of the pc to such a degree that he has to put up with anything, and he then finally abandons 8-C and really doesn’t handle the problems of the pc. All these things go together in a package.

You would be amazed how many restaurants you could walk into, find people sitting by themselves, sit down across from them and start a session. You would be just amazed how many people you could do that to without a preliminary or anything. I’ve seldom been successful in getting Scientologists (except those doing professional auditor training levels) to go out and just grab people off the street. It’s quite remarkable how often this works, if you, yourself, have a totally brave attitude toward it.

People respond to 8-C. All the social machinery people have actually breaks down in the face of direct intention. But the thing that causes difficulty in moving people along this line of methodology[3] has a great deal to do with the notion of privacy—that a reactive mind[4] has a right to “privacy.” You very definitely have to be willing to invade[5] its “privacy.” When you

[1] 8-C: the abbreviation of the name of a Scientology process called Routine 8 Control. It is also used to mean good control. Thus if one is “8-Cing” a person he is said to be exerting good control over him.
[2] circuit(s): a part of an individual’s bank that behaves as though it were someone or something separate from him and that either talks to him or goes into action of its own accord, and may even, if severe enough, take control of him while it operates. A tune that keeps going around in someone’s head is an example of a circuit.
[3] methodology: a system of methods and procedures.
[4] reactive mind: a portion of a person’s mind which works on a totally stimulus-response basis, which is not under his volitional control, and which exerts force and the power of command over his awareness, purposes, thoughts, body and actions. The reactive mind is where engrams are stored. Also called reactive bank or engramic bank or bank.
[5] invade: break into; intrude upon.

87

realize that the highest point of aberration on the third dynamic[6] was the first time you decided not to invade somebody’s privacy and that nearly everything you’ve suffered from since was a determination not to invade somebody’s privacy, you will see at once where this connects on 8-Cing somebody into a service zone.

If you have a hard time invading people’s “privacy,” you’ll have a hard time 8-Cing them into a Book One co-audit or any other Div 6[7] course, because you think the reactive mind has rights. No! It does not have any rights. What has rights? That machinery? Those dramatizations?[8] Those computing circuits? Those things have rights? The next thing you know we’ll have laws out saying reactive minds have a perfect right to kill everybody.

It began when you first decided that somebody was entitled to privacy— another thetan. There he was, over there, and you decided he was entitled to the privacy of his own thoughts. It was perfectly all right to grant him beingness. But to get on this kick that he was the only one who could invade that particular sphere and spatial[9] area and that you mustn’t, of course wound you up in the mechanics of mechanical communication and started you straight into the overt act-motivator mechanism.[10] It’s just as fast and as simple as that.

You said, “Well, there’s Joe. I mustn’t invade Joe’s privacy and find out what he has over there. I’ll stay over here and I will talk to him and when I say something to him then he says something to me, and then he says something to me and then I say something to him. Then if he does something to me then I do something to him.” This is where it got to and what happened.

So I would thoroughly recommend that anybody having anything to do with the Public Divisions should have a clean conscience and be cured of guilt. Because otherwise the person will walk in and say, “What is this? I’ve heard something about this.” And the person with a guilty conscience will say, “Well, we’re not doing very much, you know. I mean, we’re not

[6] third dynamic: the urge or effort of an individual to survive as a member of a group, or through a group, whether civil, political, racial or just a number of individuals who compose a group, such as a community, a state, a nation, a social lodge, friends, companies, or, in short, any group. Any group or part of an entire class could be considered to be part of the third dynamic.
[7] Div 6 (Division 6): Division 6 of a Scientology organization has public contact work, public advertising, Field Staff Members, public book sales, contacts with missions, basic public courses, etc., all of which are actions meant to reach the broad public. Div 6 looks outward into society. The organization’s main thrust into the world outside itself is Division 6.
[8] dramatization(s): the duplication or acting out of an engramic content, entire or in part, by an aberree in his present time environment. A person in an irrational rage would be an example of a dramatization.
[9] spatial: adj: existing in space. (Also spelled spacial.)
[10] overt act-motivator mechanism: a system used by a person to lessen the effects of his having committed an overt act and to make it all right for him to commit more. It works like this: The person commits an overt act. He then believes he has got to have a motivator (an aggressive or destructive act against himself, done by another) or he believes he has had a motivator. Motivators are then likely to be used by the person to justify his committing further overt acts. Motivators are called motivators for this reason—they motivate (push or prompt into action) a new overt act.

88

trying to do very much. You can come in if you want to. But it’s all right. We’ll be happy to … do you want to know something about it? Well, all right.”

There’s a symptom amongst pcs: when they no longer care whether the auditor talks about their case or not, they’ve kind of made it. This is a little index I use and I use it quite frequently. When I find somebody getting desperate and caring desperately whether or not his case is mentioned, I know the boy hasn’t made it yet. I don’t know anything cruel about him; I just know he hasn’t made it yet, that’s all. Because he still has a withhold-reach mechanism which is all frozen up into a thing called secrecy. And when he continues on with auditing and has that undone, he’ll then find out that the facts he has always considered so sordid[11] aren’t very sordid, now that he doesn’t consider them sordid. It’s quite remarkable. In the general add-up of a case, that is about its make-break point.

We now can move people in faster than we used to be able to, so it doesn’t take so long to establish. But the basic thing is that an individual today, as he walks in off the street, is not in communication. He is more or less being a total effect; he is trying not to be affected by anything. He is very, very hopeful there will be no kind of an effect; he wants some sort of a thing that will do something, but he doesn’t want to do anything.

If you’re going to have trouble 8-Cing this person, then you had better go do some Upper Indoc.[12] There’s no difficulty in 8-Cing this person: circuits never talk back until you talk to them; that’s something to remember in handling people. If you were to ignore the person and talk to the circuit, with the being sort of sitting there as a spectator, more or less relaying what the circuit said, that validated circuit would get stronger and bigger and more powerful. The circuit would say more and more “won’t” and “can’t,” until finally you’d hardly have anybody there at all. So when somebody walked in, if you were to validate their circuits and objections and get into it, you would be talking to circuits, not people. And the more you talked to those circuits, the more trouble you would get into.

Instead, politely and courteously 8-C the situation straight through. Never validate circuits.

As soon as you move a person a short distance into Scientology, only very bad mistakes could boost him out of it. But you would have to make a lot of bad mistakes. The main thing to do is not make those mistakes. Go ahead, render excellent service, just do it straight, directly and move him on up the line. Now, it’s just as important to have individual service that he can get some place in the world—like HGC auditing in Div 4— as it was to get him onto a Div 6 course in the first place. You don’t want

[11] sordid: base, low, dishonorable, etc.
[12] Upper Indoc: a shortened version of Upper Indoctrination Training Routines. Indoctrinate means to instruct or teach. The Upper Indocs are Training Routines 6 to 9 which teach the student to maintain a high level of control in any circumstance. They are taught on the Hubbard Qualified Scientologist (HQS) Course.

89

him stopping halfway up the line. Therefore, that problem would have to be solved.

But all of these problems are solved only with the cooperation of all Scientologists, by going in a particular desirable direction, resolving the difficulties with good communication, and resolving those difficulties on an optimum solution basis. Doing that sort of thing we can make it.

Exactly how do you get the chance to sit down and give enough auditing commands to a pc, or get somebody to give enough auditing commands to a pc, to make Clears?[13] How do you do that? Well, you do that by 8-Cing people through various precise steps, with good administration, straight on up to the goal. If you neglect this methodology of how you get them in and get them graduated up along the line, you will never get the chance to supervise them being given commands nor the chance to give them commands yourself, enough to make them Clear. And the whole project of clearing the planet would break down at once, not because of technology, not because of your desires, not because of the pc’s desires, but simply because the methodology did not exist to permit him to arrive at the goal he desired to arrive at.

I hope we won’t make that mistake.

[13] Clear: noun: a thetan cleared of enforced and unwanted behavior patterns and discomforts. A Clear is a being who no longer has his own reactive mind.

Subject: Ron’s Journal 1969, No. 1

I have been studying the subject of modern government. As you know I was trained in this subject (in one of the Universities the reporters say I never went to).

Nearly every major country in the “free” world has been sporadically at war, by which I mean guns and soldiers, in one place or another since 1945.

Only one country has not. That is Russia. Her 2,000,000 man army, amongst all major armies, has only had two brief actions — Hungary and Czechoslovakia. Instead she engages in guerrilla support or insurgency attacks by local partisans over the world. She is engaged in this and continual propaganda attacks. By this she has kept in action all other major armies serving as “security forces”, in “brush fire wars” or revolts.

Obviously the lesson is plain. To defend an area one must attack.

All other major actions are fighting within their own territories or on those of allies. They are fighting on their own soil or that of allies. They are losing. There isn’t a ripple in the Russian homeland.

So in this universe the winning tactic must be to attack. The losing tactic must be to only defend.

These “brush wars” are inflating the funds of rather extravagant western powers. It cost France £1 million a day to combat (and lose to) guerrilla forces in Algeria. It is costing the US $40 billion to $50 billion a year to “police” Vietnam. That was the total national budget a few years ago! Thus Russia is wrecking western currency and economics as well.

But the main thing I have scouted out is that these guerrillas or insurgency forces who start these “brush wars” have to have a powerful cause. It has to be powerful enough to attract large portions of the local population.

The “free” world invalidates these insurgent causes. But a cause great enough to bear one’s breast to western machine guns, to starve and die for, must be quite a cause.

If such a cause can generate such local support and eventually win over whole populations, then it must be founded on real, not imaginary, abuses.

No guerrilla force agitator can build total support with empty slogans. There has to be sound solid reasons that each supporting member of the population can know for truth out of his own personal experience.

So there have to be abuses on the part of the governing forces. There must have been abuses for a long time. And nobody in the government did anything about them. And so [slogans  or no slogans,] lies or no lies, there had to be real factual abuses. Enough to bring about revolution.

Western powers have not been subject to any “divine doubt”. They know they are so right it hurts. They never seem to question their own actions or procedures. They just back them up with guns and troops.

IT HAS NEVER OCCURRED TO ANY WESTERN POWER THAT THEY THEMSELVES NOW HAVE NO ADEQUATE CAUSE.

Obviously if a prime requisite of guerrillas is a cause, then what’s needed is a bigger and better cause on the part of the Government.

And it isn’t there. And its lack is costing them money, men, the cold war.

In Kenya they defeated the Mau Mau, gave loyalty certificates to a lot of the population — then lost the whole country and the holders of the certificates were killed. All for lack of a government cause, strong enough to be fought for.

So, this makes us review, in light of our own experience, the whole subject of western government.

One finds that they are governments by pressure groups, which is to say, vested interests. Some time ago they ceased to be governments of the people and became governments by the pressure group, of the pressure group and for the pressure group.

These pressure groups (such as the psychiatrist or the “international banker”) are often very vicious, quite mad. With bribery, terrorism, false reports, and 3rd Party actions such groups drive the politician into attacking the population, whether by easy seizure of persons or oppressive taxation or merely over-regulation and over-inspection.

In 1945 with the advent of atomic bombs, governments could no longer meet the definition of a sovereign power which is “protect the land and people from foreign aggression”. There is no real defense against these bombs and 12 nations are now possessors of them.

So for this and other reasons, governments apparently cased to protect the individual and the average social group. Instead they begun (in their derangement) to attack them. In small ways or large, the attacks were real. They required defending against in slow, biased courts at great expense.

It was almost as if governments in most cases were trying to force a revolutionary action into being.

The main problem of the individual or group, harassed, left without protection, over-regulated, subjected to abuses without any protection from the government, is to keep from becoming a revolutionary individual or group.

In our own case, if we had less stability, we would have joined forces with some revolutionary group, driven there by harassment. We are, in policy and fact, refusing to become revolutionary.

Governments, responding to pressure groups, would have us driven underground and into the arms of some insurgent activity.

Now if we experience this, we are not alone. Attacked for nothing, we tend to individuate or introvert. But if you call around to other groups you will find we are more successful in defending ourselves and are suffering less attack than they are.

Cheerily, we would have helped our governments for the last two decades. We had real help to offer. Even our support as a religious group would have been valuable and often was. We also had real technical help for them in their most pressing problems. And every action from any government so far is not only no protection but also outright attack. For no crime not even a

misdemeanor, we have been ridiculed, mocked, fought and knocked around by our governments who followed the orders of the pressure groups.

So these Western governments are capable of gross abuses. Governments that attack writers, religions, peaceful social groups are never long for this world. When they attack Scientology, the highest level of mental tech on the planet, and actively support and finance the sordid seizure, torture and death of psychiatric victims they must be utterly mad themselves.

So what’s this cause they offer? Some insurgent group comes up with any cause at all and the population goes for it.

The law on this is that WHEN FACED WITH A CORRUPT AND OPPRESSIVE GOVERNMENT, THE POPULATION TENDS TO JOIN ANY GROUP WHICH THAT GOVERNMENT ATTACKS WITHOUT EVEN ASKING FOR WHAT THE ATTACKED GROUP STANDS.

In other words they are all being attacked so they identify themselves with anyone else being attacked.

If the attacked group has shown spirit and defiance and attacked the government in its turn you then have a revolution.

As oppressive governments have no real cause anyone that anyone would really fight for (who wants to protect the puppets of a corrupt pressure group?) then any popular insurgent cause is adequate to rally a population.

Our problem then is to refuse utterly to be forced into the position of revolutionaries. It is hard to do.

Somehow we must get these governments to clean up their own houses before they are carried down by the outraged mob. The end of that would be complete chaos.

The main area where they err is in attacking their own people. Justice is not for the poor. Any false report by any of these depraved pressure groups can get any individual or group into severe trouble. It costs vast sums of money to defend in modern courts. The average person does not have it. Therefore human rights must be made a fact, not an idealistic dream.

The very basis of human rights is freedom from false accusations and from brutality and punishment without offense.

Somehow, government by prejudice and false report must end in the West or the West itself will end.

By bringing about real human rights, perhaps there would be enough cause in the West to be worth fighting for.

Somehow society in the West must be revitalized after decades of arduous degradation.

It will not be an easy feat. It is very hard to save a being or government who is bent whole-heartedly on self-destruction.

We are trying to get these governments to clean up their own houses and so preserve themselves.

We are trying to get the society to revitalize after decades in the mind of decayed animalism.

It’s a large order. But remember this, if we do not succeed then it is the end of the free “world and the probable end of everything we know of civilization.

On the other hand there are social groups and people without count who, given liaison with one another and a uniting of their sphere of influence, will help us.

-4-

We must try very hard to wipe out these attacks on us and refuse steadfastly to be forced into revolutionary activity or into the arms of insurgents organizing even now to destroy every government in the West.

If we, with no crimes on our hands, can be remorselessly attacked, if the bad hats only are protected and their crimes ignored, then we have a gauge of the task before us.

We are already reversing this trend.

We do have a chance of succeeding all the way. We are the only group in the West that is standing its ground and winning.
